The recorder is popular, also because the basics of playing the recorder are relatively easy to learn: a school concert without a recorder is hardly imaginable.

And yet it is also a highly demanding instrument,

and with it, artistically rich interpretations of the musical literature are possible.

The Saturday Recorder Quartet presents the musical potential of the recorder

with four instruments of different pitches. The program is not only rich,

but also extremely entertaining: works from the Baroque period are arrangements

of popular music of the 1950s as well as jazz and film music.
